UST is a national third-party logistics company that specializes in the “final mile” delivery of furniture and appliances—from the retailer’s warehouse directly into the customer’s home.

 

UST believes that the home delivery experience is not only a commodity, it is key to the consumer’s lasting impression and therefore critical to earning repeat business. UST Community Outreach

UST sponsored families who reside in The Family Effect transitional housing. Please watch the video below to see how The Family Effect is positively impacting lives daily: “Heal a family, and we all get better.

All funds raised were used to purchase items from the families’ wish lists, grocery gift cards, and holiday decorations; UST matched donations dollar-for-dollar and purchased items on Serenity Village’s wish list (such as diapers, clothing, formula, and toiletries).

We focused on three projects:

  1. Gifting a Disney trip to a family with five-year-old twins from Columbia, SC that was displaced by historic flooding earlier this year.
  2. Painting and laying carpet for a children’s playroom at Mainstay, a women’s and children’s domestic violence shelter in Hendersonville, NC.
  3. Providing Christmas gifts to a lady and her two children who previously resided at the shelter and transitioned to independence.

The most meaningful gift this lady received was an airline trip to Micronesia to visit her mother, who is in poor health.

UST contributes to various non-profits, charities, and individuals within our local community. For those enduring hardships or needing financial assistance, our team works to provide memorable experiences, financial relief, and family-focused opportunities. These have included purchasing Christmas decorations and gifts for families, handling travel expenses for visits to sick relatives, providing a new home for a sick, elderly grandmother caring for her five grandchildren, handling home repairs, and helping families with their mortgages and other bills. Our team is full of passionate collaborators who work alongside client retailers, business partners, and friends to meet needs, engage relationally, and exceed expectations.
